PJs For The Cure, Plus A Giveaway!

Today, Komar, the largest sleepwear and intimate apparel manufacturer in the United States, launched PJs for the Cure to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and kick-off National Diabetes Month. In an effort to effectively support JDRF, Komar has chosen to take an active role and do what they do best— design, produce, and sell women’s and children’s pajamas to raise money to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes. This program is unique in that Komar is donating 100% of every sale to JDRF to fund further research for a cure for this chronic disease that predominately strikes in childhood. The goal is to raise $1 million for JDRF by selling comfy cotton pajamas, available just in time for holiday giving.

PJs For The Cure is offering two different designs for boys, three for girls, and three for women - including a mother-daughter matching set.

To kick off the campaign and bring awareness to this important issue (24 million Americans have diabetes, and a new case is diagnosed every 30 seconds in the U.S.), Spoiled Pretty is partnering for a giveaway.

One lucky lady will win a set of women's pajamas (in winner's choice of print). The pj's feature cozy, super soft 100% cotton knit; inside pocket suitable for an insulin pump or iPod; ribbon drawstring and piping. These pajamas are great for sleeping and lounging. As I type this, I'm wearing the Grey Stripe Print jammies. They are so comfy and stylish that - for the past few days - I've been putting them on as soon as I get home from work. If I had the other two styles, I'd rotate them so I could could give my oversized tees and ugly sweatpants a much-needed rest.

To enter the giveaway, send an email to fotohotcewekcontests@gmail.com. Be sure to include your full name and mailing address. The subject line should read "PJs For The Cure Giveaway." The contest ends at midnight (EST) on Monday, November 9th. One winner will be chosen at random from among the entrants. On Tuesday, November 10th, I'll announce the winner's name. Please, only one entry per person; duplicate entries will not increase your chances of winning. Contest is open to U.S. residents.
